Toronto Teen Dance Class Schedule

Weekly Class Schedule

Teen dance classes are a wonderful way for young people aged 10 to 15 to stay active, build technique, and develop their own sense of style in a fun, encouraging setting.

Dancing alongside peers helps teens feel comfortable exploring movement while building confidence, self-esteem, and creativity.

Our teen program also includes performance opportunities that give dancers the chance to showcase what they’ve learned, whether they’re seasoned performers or just discovering their love of dance. It’s a meaningful way to grow, connect, and make lasting friendships.

What to Expect in Our Teen Dance Classes

Dance Class Experience

Each teen class is designed with growing dancers in mind — engaging, challenging, and built to develop real skill. Classes begin with a warm-up to prepare the body and prevent injury before moving into technique work tailored to each style. From there, instructors guide teens through across-the-floor combinations, choreography, and creative exploration set to music they love. Dancers work on everything from clean technique in ballet and jazz to high-energy choreography in hip hop and expressive movement in contemporary and lyrical. Classes finish with a cool-down and reflection, giving teens a sense of progress and accomplishment. Throughout, our instructors offer individual attention and encouragement, making every class a space to grow and connect.

Physical Development

Dancing helps teens build coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength while staying active through a fun, full-body workout.

Social Connection

Teen dance classes bring young people together, creating the perfect environment to make new friends and build a supportive community.

Confidence & Self-Esteem

Mastering new skills and performing in front of others helps teens build confidence and a strong, positive sense of self.

Creative Self-Expression

Exploring different dance styles gives teens a healthy outlet to express themselves, find their own style, and discover their creative voice.
